The following audio was taken from a radio interview Ronald Bucca appeared on 1 year after surviving a five-story fall at an Upper West Side tenement fire in 1986. He broke a vertebrae and his knee when he fell off a building while trying to help a fellow firefighter. He also earned the nickname, "The Flying Fireman."
